Please access the Traffic Light system HERE.  This will tell you how busy the Gym is before setting off.

We Need Your Support –  Please Join the Centre

We are running the facilities that are safe but others that we consider unsafe remain closed.  This is having a huge impact on our income.  HERE is an article that first appeared in the July edition of the Contact magazine which gives more information.

You can help by joining the Centre as a Social Member.  Individual membership costs either £15 or £20 depending upon your age.  JOIN HERE – Just complete the form and submit it to us.  You will receive confirmation and we will contact you to make payment.  Your membership card will be waiting for you to collect.

Renewal of Membership

Many of you have membership which has lapsed and we know you want to support us, but please bear with us whilst we set up a process to enable you to renew your membership easily,

We know the Gym is a source of great relief, happiness and fun for millions of people across the UK.  It might look a little different for now, but together we can workout towards a brighter future.

Our programme of Fitness Classes has been extended and can be viewed HERE together with the the way they will operate to ensure the safety of members and staff.  All classes (except Spinning) will take place in the Sports Hall.

Members are required to book their attendance on a class and pay at the time of booking, so please call 01245 224515 to book yourself on a class.  Numbers are limited.

Temporary Closure of Badminton & Snooker

Whilst Essex is under restrictions for COVID Level: HIGH, we have had to suspend all Badminton play and the hire of the Snooker tables.  However, these activities are still available to members of the same household or Support Bubble.

Important Information

How Safe is the Centre? The safety of Staff and Members is foremost in our mind and, we’ve redefined our cleaning standards, reassessed our processes and re-imagined the gym experience to keep you safe in the new normal.

What does this look like? Let’s find out.
Centre Capacity – There is a limit to the number of members allowed in the Gym and Centre at any time.  Members will be required to check in on arrival and check out when leaving.  This provides information for us to meet Government’s requirements to support the NHS Test and Trace System.

New Cleaning Processes – We’ve increased our cleaning time to make sure our gym is spotless from top to bottom.  We will be supplying the staff with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as well as viricidal solutions and sanitisers, that kill viruses such as Covid-19 in just 60 seconds.

The Centre has also been treated with a revolutionary new water-based anti-microbial coating.  This safe and effective technology destroys the cell membranes of viruses and bacteria on surfaces for 90 days, using revolutionary “nanospike” technology. This coating is environmentally friendly, containing no VOC, heavy metals, or odour causing agents.  This technology will add extra certainty that our surfaces, equipment, scanners etc. are safe for use.

Social Distancing – Some equipment is out of action to ensure social distancing, and floor markings will help you to keep your distance.  We want everyone to enjoy a fantastic workout while feeling safe.

Changing Facilities – As we re-open, we would ask you to come to the gym ready to work-out.  Our toilets and lockers in the Gym are available, but our changing rooms and showers will be closed for now, so that we can dedicate full cleaning resource to the gym floor and toilet areas.

New Sanitising Stations – We have installed new sanitisers in both areas of the Gym to make sure it’s close by so you can wipe down your equipment and hands.

Reopening Video – Please watch the Reopening Video opposite which has been produced by our Gym Partners Lifestyle Fitness.  This shows the changes they have made and which we have taken on board as far as possible.
